Suryamal Mishran (1815–1868) was a distinguished historian, poet, and scholar from Rajasthan, known for his extensive contributions to documenting Rajput history and culture. Belonging to the Dingal literary tradition, he authored several important works that preserved the tales, valor, and heritage of Rajput clans. His most famous work is Vansh Bhaskar, a historical chronicle of Rajput rulers, which remains an invaluable source for understanding Rajasthan’s past.
