Theyiesinuo Keditsu

YOUTH SPOTLIGHT

Theyiesinuo Keditsu (also known as T. Keditsu) is a scholar, poet, feminist, folklorist and culture advocate from Nagaland. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and is Assistant Professor of English at Kohima College. Her work explores Indigenous Naga culture, oral and written literatures, feminist perspectives and women’s narratives. She has published poetry collections such as Sopfünuo and Wake, is co-founder of the Centre for Indigenous Knowledge & Alternative Learning (CIKAL), and is involved in reviving Naga women’s textiles, promoting local knowledge, and conducting workshops and programmes related to creative writing, communication and cultural heritage.
