Viseyie Koso

UNSUNG HEROES

Viseyie Koso is a distinguished Sepak Takraw player from Viswema, Nagaland, celebrated for his exceptional contributions to Indian sports. Born on March 25, 1984, Koso made history in 2010 by becoming the first Naga athlete to represent India at the Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. He further showcased his prowess at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

In 2022, Koso captained the Indian men's Sepak Takraw team to a gold medal in the Regu Division 1 at the 35th King's World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand. His leadership and skill were instrumental in India's triumph.
