Extension of President’s Rule in Manipur

In August 2025, the central government extended President’s Rule in Manipur for another six months, effective from August 13. This decision was approved by the Rajya Sabha following a resolution introduced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Approval of ₹2 Crore for Rajbari Heritage Complex Development

The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) sanctioned ₹2 crore for upgrading infrastructure at the Heritage Complex, Rajbari, in Shillong. Establishment of New Secretariat Police Station and SDPO Posts
