Haryana’s Hall Of Fame

Bhupinder Singh Hooda is a senior Indian politician and a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress from Haryana. Born on September 15, 1947, in Sanghi village, Rohtak district, he comes from a family with a strong political background. Hooda is best known for serving as the Chief Minister of Haryana for two consecutive terms, from 2005 to 2014, during which the state saw significant development, especially in infrastructure, education, and urban expansion. Under his leadership, Haryana attracted major industrial investments and witnessed growth in sectors like IT, real estate, and agriculture. He also emphasized social welfare schemes and improving law and order. As a seasoned politician, Hooda has represented the Rohtak constituency multiple times in the Lok Sabha (Parliament) and continues to be an influential voice in Haryana politics.
